Kids Invited to 'Mini Mustang Meet'

Are your kids ready to test their mettle in track and field? If so, get ready for the fourth annual Mini Mustang Meet, an all-comers event to raise funds for the Mira Costa High School track and field team.
The Mini Mustang Meet will take place at Waller Stadium at Mira Costa High School on Sunday, March 11, from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. For a $20 entry fee, kids can compete in three events and get a t-shirt.
The event, which is billed as a great way to introduce younger kids to track and field, will feature running events from 50 meters to a mile, as well as relays, shot put and long jump. The team will also offer pole jump and high vault demonstrations.
Parents are invited to participate in the 100 meter and mile run events, as well as a family relay.
Registration is available online, or on site starting at noon on Sunday. For more information, email [email protected].
