Plan Your Thanksgiving Dinner in Manhattan Beach

Editor's note: On Sunday, November 22, the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health ordered a halt to in-person (indoor and outdoor) dining for at least three weeks, due to a spike in recent COVID-19 numbers, effective Wednesday night, November 25. If you had planned to choose a dine-in option, please adjust your plans accordingly.

This year's Thanksgiving may look a little different in Manhattan Beach... but what hasn't changed is lots of great food and lots of great choices. Your local Thanksgiving options include:

Fishing With Dynamite, MB Post, and The Arthur J: Chef David LeFevre and the teams at M.B. Post, Fishing With Dynamite and The Arthur J are back and bringing their "A" game to Thanksgiving dinner. Order everything you need here for a festive Thanksgiving feast - from appetizers and biscuits - to turkey and pie - to wine and cocktails. Order soon - pickup times (on Wednesday, November 25) are filling up quickly. 

Gelson's Market: Gelson's has full Thanksgiving dinners - including plant-based feasts - available for order. Pickups can be completed as late as 1:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, November 26.

GROW: As always, GROW has you covered for Thanksgiving with turkeys and prepared sides. Make your Thanksgiving order by 4:00 p.m., Friday, November 20. Turkeys can be picked up Monday 11/23, Tuesday 11/24, and Wednesday 11/25 after 10:00 am.

Il Fornaio: At Il Fornaio, you can order a Thanksgiving feast to go, or you can dine in on Thanksgiving with a four-course menu for $51.95. Check out the Thanksgiving feast to-go menu here, or make your reservations here.

The Kettle: Yes, of course The Kettle will be serving its "locally famous" Thanksgiving dinner with all the fixin's for $29.95 per person. Takeout and patio dine-in service will be available starting at 10:00 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day. Call to pre-order for large groups: (310) 545-851.

Lido di Manhattan: Lido has a dine-in Thanksgiving plan for you. Take your pick of a three-course Thanksgiving meal with salad and dessert for $54, or order just the Thanksgiving "plate" for $34 (as well as other regular menu items). Lido will be open for dining on Thanksgiving from 1:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Mother's Market: Mother's Market has all of your fully prepared Thanksgiving menu items available for pre-order, as well as uncooked turkeys. Reserve your items by Thursday, Nov. 19.

Pitfire Artisan Pizza: (Yes, Pitfire Pizza) is offering a "Pitfire Pizza Warm-Up Kit" for Thanksgiving that includes turkey meatballs, Buffalo wings, and take and bake pumpkin pizza. It's available in three sizes that serve up groups up to 4 ($45), 8 ($85), and 12 guests ($120). Pre-order via Tock with pick-ups taking place Monday November 23 through Sunday November 28. Delivery will also be available that week through the Pitfire Pizza website and mobile app.

Shade Hotel (Zinc @ Shade):  Shade and Zinc have a full Thanksgiving dinner available for pre-order. You can also eat a complete Thanksgiving dinner at Zinc @Shade, starting at 1:00 p.m., for $40 per person. Call 310-698-5559 to place an order or reservation.

The Source Cafe: The Source Cafe has a full holiday catering menu for gluten-free, dairy-free, and vegan holiday menu items. Order by Monday, November 23 for Thanksgiving.

Tin Roof Bistro: Tin Roof is offering a prix fixe three-course Thanksgiving dinner at $60 per person for reserved seatings from 1:00pm - 7:30pm on Thanksgiving Day. They are also offering a children's menu for ages 10 and under at $20 per child, as well as a la carte pricing on select appetizers to enjoy prior to dinner.

Urban Plates: Urban Plates has a lot (seriously a LOT) of choices for Thanksgiving. Order a full meal for $129 or a la carte items for takeout (Must reserve by November 21).  You can also dine in from 10:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Thanksgiving day. For $17.95, you can also order a single Thanksgiving plate, for dine-in or to go.
