Additionally, there was an amateur performance stage that featured the Kelly School of Irish Dance, the Roth Trio, and Mariachi Alma Juvenil for their first appearance and Mx’d Plate for their second.

The Roth Trio (L-R: Phil, Garrett, and Nick) covered a variety of pop tunes with the audience singing along. Garret’s rousing piano playing earned the event’s first ever standing request for an encore of “One more song, one more song!"

Returning performers included Smokey Hollow (bluegrass), The MB Poetry Circle/MCHS Poets, and the Rise Academy of Dance Performance Team.

The Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair welcomes amateur art and amateur performers from throughout the South Bay area. Applications for the 2024 Fair to be held October 5-6 will be available next June.
