The owner of the red "farmhouse" at the corner of 11th and Peck - the site of a New Year's Day homicide - was confirmed dead after having been found on Friday morning.

Douglas Aziz, age 67, was found face down in a jacuzzi at his home, a city spokesperson confirmed to MB News. Attempts to revive him were not successful.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner's office has listed the cause of death as "deferred," meaning that it is pending additional investigation.

Property records confirm Aziz as the owner of the home at 1467 11th Street. The house has been the site of numerous noise complaints and police activity.
