21 Mira Costa Student Athletes Recognized on Spring Signing Day

Twenty-one Mira Costa High School student athletes made their college and athletic commitments official at this week's Spring Signing Day.
Signing Day is when students make commitments to continue their respective sports at the collegiate level.
(Typically, an official signing day is held in the fall, again in the
winter, and once more in the spring, depending on the sport.)

Anderson Bennett will be attending the University of Puget Sound and will be competing for the Loggers swim team. Anderson has been a four year varsity swimmer at Costa, where he specializes in the 100 and 200 breaststroke as well as the 100 fly. He has been part of the Beach Cities Swim Club for nine years and had the chance to compete for them at Nationals last winter. Anderson wants to thank his family, his friends and his coaches for all of their support and encouragement through the years.
Grayson Bradford will be attending UCLA to be a part of the volleyball team. Grayson transferred to Mira Costa this year, where he plays opposite on the Varsity team after two Varsity seasons at Crespi High School in Encino, where he also played basketball. He has been an honor roll student all semesters of high school, and looks forward to studying economics at UCLA. A member of MB Surf volleyball club for the past four years with several of his Costa teammates, he looks forward to winning the CIF with them as they complete their prep journey. Big thanks to coaches, family, and Mr. Rosenthal for all the support at Costa and through the recruiting process.
Bella Brito will be attending the University of Southern California and competing for the Trojans on their swim team. Bella joined Mira Costa her junior year and has been a member of the varsity swim team for the past two seasons. During her time at Mira Costa, she has broken individual and school records and was a part of the girls’ CIF team that finished as runner-up last year. Bella is also an individual CIF champion. She would like to thank her family, friends, coaches, and teammates for all their support throughout her journey to get here. Bella is thrilled to continue her academic and swimming career at USC.
Bryson Bryker will be attending Pomona College and playing for the Pomona-Pitzer basketball team next year. He has been a member of the Mira Costa Basketball team for all four years of high school and has been on the varsity team for two of those years. This year, Bryson achieved the MVP award of the Bellflower tournament and earned Second Team All Bay League honors. For the last two years, Bryson has played club basketball for the West Coast Elite National team. Bryson has also been a scholar athlete throughout high school, maintaining straight As at an unweighted GPA of 4.0. He would like to thank his family, friends, and coaches for all their support, and he can's wait to continue his basketball and academic career at Pomona College.
Ella Digilio will be attending Harvard University and competing for the Harvard-Radcliffe Rowing team. Since 9th grade, Ella has been rowing for Marina Aquatic Center, based out of the UCLA Boathouse in Marina Del Rey. Ella has competed at Youth Nationals twice, placing 10th and 25th in the nation her freshman and junior years. She also attended US Rowing’s Selection Development Camp in Summer 2023 for promising youth rowers and has been part of U.S. Rowing’s High Performance Program since then. Ella has been a proud scholar athlete since freshman year. This year she was named a National Merit Finalist and she is looking forward to continuing her academic studies and rowing career at Harvard. Ella would like to thank her family, friends, teammates, and coaches for all their support these past four years.
Lola Fasano will be attending Lehigh University and playing for the Division 1 women’s softball team. Lola has been a member of the Mira Costa softball program for all four years and now is one of the team captains. She has been the starting catcher for varsity since freshman year, but this year she has been more of a utility player: catching, playing second base, shortstop and outfield. Outside of Mira Costa, Lola plays travel softball for SoCal Athletics LaStrapes and this summer will be the captain of the Germany international softball team. She would like to thank her family for always supporting her dreams of playing Division 1 softball and would like to thank her sister for always pushing her to be the best player she could be. Lola is so excited to continue to play for the next four years at Lehigh.
Dylan Fenton will be attending McGill University in Montreal and will be playing lacrosse for the RedBirds. Dylan has been playing lacrosse since 1st grade and has been a member of the Mira Costa varsity team since freshman year, serving as Captain his senior year. In 9th grade, he was named the Hardest Working Player. As a sophomore, Dylan was awarded first team all Bay League honors, and as a junior he was selected as Bay League MVP, CIF player of the year, and Daily Breeze player of the year. In total Dylan has amassed over 500 career ground balls and over 150 points. Outside of Costa, Dylan plays lacrosse with Mad Dog National and has been named on All Tournament teams including All Juniors Open. He has also been awarded the title of Academic All American by U.S. Lacrosse Magazine. Dylan would like to thank his mom and dad for their support and guidance, all of his coaches for teaching him the game he loves, and his friends.
Ford Finster will be attending Gustavus Adolphus College in Minnesota, where he will compete for the Gusties’ golf team. A varsity golfer at Mira Costa since transferring from Loyola his junior year, Ford has served as co-captain and played a pivotal role in leading Costa through two of its best seasons, including a victory over a longtime rival. Ford has competed in over 100 tournaments hosted by the Southern California Golf Association, American Junior Golf Association, and Future Champions Golf. With a 0.5 handicap, he has developed elite focus, perseverance, and discipline. Ford has mentored younger teammates and promoted camaraderie in a traditionally individual sport. Working at youth golf camps, he taught not just swing mechanics, but also the importance of mindset, patience, and self-confidence. Off the course, Ford is a scholar athlete who enjoys playing multiple sports, as well as competitive chess and poker. He would like to thank his family—especially his uncle and grandmother who inspired his love of golf—his friends, teammates, and coaches, particularly Josh Alpert, for their support.

Throughout high school, he has also earned the distinction of being a scholar-athlete for four consecutive years. Ian would like to extend his deepest gratitude to his parents for their unwavering support and for always being there at his meets. He also thanks Coach Hunter and Coach Dan for constantly pushing him to be his best and believing in his potential. As Ian takes the next step in his running career, he's excited for the future and all the opportunities that lie ahead.
Alex Heins will be attending New Jersey Institute of Technology to study civil engineering while competing as a middle blocker on the Highlanders Men’s D1 Volleyball Team. Alex has spent the last four years representing Mira Costa as a middle blocker on the boys' volleyball team as well as competing in beach volleyball. He has maintained his position on the Honor Roll for all four
years while also playing club volleyball for Team Rockstar. He’d like to thank his coaches, family and friends for all the direction and support they have given him and is looking forward to continuing a strong showing in the classroom as well as on the court.

Kendall Herman will be playing volleyball as a Whitman Blue where she plans to major in art and design. Kendall played both rugby and volleyball for Mira Costa. She has been a scholar athlete for all three years of her sports activities at Costa. Kendall would like to thank coach Cam Green for his support and guidance-not just on the court. He is literally the reason she has grown so much as a player. Also, thanks to coaches Leandro Pinheiro, Nancy Saunders, and Nicole Rouche. And finally, Kendall gives love and appreciation to her family: Josh, Laurie, Nick and Natalie for the encouragement, shoulders, snacks, and time they have provided while achieving the goal of playing college volleyball.
Delaney Herr will be attending Princeton University and competing for the Tigers swimming team. Delaney has been a member of the Mira Costa varsity swim team since her freshman year, and currently swims for her club team Beach Cities Swimming. She specializes in sprint backstroke, freestyle, and butterfly, currently holding the school record in the 100 yard butterfly and contributing to all three record-breaking relay teams. Delaney has also been a proud Scholastic All-American throughout her high school career. She would like to thank her family, friends, and coaches for their unwavering support throughout her journey. She’s thrilled to continue her academic and swimming career at Princeton.
Jack Krikorian will be attending Chapman University and competing for the Panthers swim team. He has been a member of the Mira Costa varsity swim team since freshman year including being captain his last two years. He was also a two-year member of the water polo team. Jack has been named a scholar athlete several times and has continuously committed his time to the philanthropic organization Amigos Unidos, receiving the Presidential Award two times. He thanks all of his coaches at Mira Costa, both in swimming and water polo, and his coaches at Alpha Swim Club. He gives a special shout out to Jack's friends and teammates for the joyous moments and experiences throughout the years and for standing by his side despite the times he couldn't hang out because of his practice schedule. He also wants to thank his sister for the relationship they have built, especially over time spent together as his carpool buddy and her personal chauffeur. Most importantly, Jack would like to thank his mom and dad for their encouragement, love, and support. He promises to come back for weekend dinners.
Allie Lindblad will be attending Penn State university and playing D1 rugby for its women’s rugby team. Allie started playing rugby in her hometown shanghai china, and has been a varsity athlete all 4 years. She also plays for the nationally ranked rugby club Belmont Shore. Allie would like to thank her parents, sister, friends and coaches for pushing her and supporting her throughout the years. She is extremely excited to play rugby for Penn state the next four years.
Nick Marsh’s lacrosse journey began in first grade, and his dedication to the game has only grown stronger over the years. From his early days with South Bay Lacrosse Club to competing at the highest levels with Mad Dog West and Mad Dog National, Nick has consistently proven himself as a standout athlete and team leader. A proud scholar-athlete since middle school, Nick has balanced academic excellence with a relentless drive on the field. He has earned numerous honors, including being named a Lacrosse All-American and a 2024 USA Lacrosse All-Academic honoree. Nick represented the Pacific Southwest region on the Nike National All-Star Team for three consecutive years (2022, 2023, 2024), showcasing his talents against some of the best players in the nation. At Mira Costa, Nick made a lasting impact as a three-time Offensive MVP (2022–2024) and helped lead his team with consistent performance and leadership. His efforts earned him All Bay League honors in 2023 and the All Bay League Offensive MVP title in 2024. As he heads to Babson College to compete at the collegiate level for the Beavers, Nick brings with him years of experience, a strong work ethic, and a deep love for the game.
Heather O'Brien will be attending Cal State East Bay and swimming for them this coming fall. Heather has been a part of the Costa swim team all four years and has been swimming on club teams for 13 years. Heather would like to thank her coaches, teammates and parents for their support over the years.
Henry Dashiell (Dash) Seiffer will be attending Rhodes College in Memphis, Tennessee and competing for the Lynx lacrosse team. Dash has been playing lacrosse since first grade and has been a member of the Mira Costa varsity lacrosse team since his freshman year. He plays bothclose defense and long-stick midfielder. Dash earned All Bay League honors his sophomore year and during his junior year earned First Team All Bay League Honors, was the highest voted player for Bay League Defensive MVP, was a Daily Breeze All Area First Team Player, earned CIF Southern Section Honors and was voted Mira Costa's Defensive MVP. He was recently named a 2025 Southern Section Senior All Star by The Lax Journal. Dash plays club lacrosse for Berserkers and Silverbacks and would like to thank his parents and each of his high school and club coaches for their support and guidance over the years.
LyAnni Torres will be attending Aurora University and competing for the Spartans softball team. LyAnni transferred to Mira Costa her senior year, joining the varsity softball team, and has been a varsity player for all four years of high school. She plays second base, short stop, and outfield. LyAnni has taken pride in her academics just as much, if not more, than her athletic career all throughout high school. She would like to thank her family, friends, and coaches for believing and supporting her throughout her softball journey. At Aurora, she will be double majoring in Sports Management and Marketing.
Jacob Yakatan will be attending Connecticut College and competing for the Camel's lacrosse team. He has been a member of the Mira Costa varsity lacrosse team since his junior year and plays attack. Jacob was named 2nd Team All Bay League during his junior season. Jacob has
played club lacrosse nationally for the Silverbacks and Bezerkers Clubs. Jacob would like to thank his family, friends, and coaches for all their support throughout the years! Jacob is very excited to continue his lacrosse career next year.
