Seven Pasha Robbery Suspects Arrested

Seven suspects have been arrested in Wednesday night's robbery at Pasha Fine Jewelry, the Manhattan Beach Police Department has announced.
All were taken into custody, five from one vehicle that MBPD chased into the city of Los Angeles, and two more in a separate traffic stop. MBPD states that items from Wednesday night’s robbery were found in each vehicle.
MBPD later teamed up with LAPD and Gardena SWAT teams in a search on a location believed to be related to the investigation of the robbery.
The Manhattan Beach Police Department has issued the following statement:
On Wednesday, March 22, 2023 at 5:53 p.m., the Manhattan Beach Police Department responded to Pasha Fine Jewelry (217 Manhattan Beach Blvd.) regarding a smash and grab robbery. Multiple suspects entered the jewelry store, used hammers to break display cases, and fled the store with miscellaneous merchandise. The suspects entered awaiting vehicles and fled the scene southbound in an alley. Multiple suspects were armed with what appeared to be handguns. No shots were fired.
At approximately 7:23 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Manhattan Beach Police Officers
attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle involved in the Pasha Fine Jewelry Store Robbery. The driver failed to yield and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended in the City of Los Angeles and five adult suspects were arrested. Jewelry from the robbery was located within the vehicle.
At approximately 7:23 p.m. on Wednesday, March 22, 2023, Manhattan Beach Police Officers
attempted to conduct a traffic stop on a vehicle involved in the Pasha Fine Jewelry Store Robbery. The driver failed to yield and a pursuit was initiated. The pursuit ended in the City of Los Angeles and five adult suspects were arrested. Jewelry from the robbery was located within the vehicle.
In a separate traffic stop occurring soon after the conclusion of the pursuit, two juvenile subjects were taken into custody. Jewelry and other items taken in the crime were located in this vehicle as well.
In the early morning hours today (March 23, 2023), the Manhattan Beach Police Department Special Weapons and Tactics Team (MBPD SWAT), with the assistance of the Gardena SWAT Team and our partners at the Los Angeles Police Department, served a search warrant in the City of Los Angeles. MBPD Detectives are continuing to investigate at this time.
