Little Sister Now Open for Lunch

Diners who know and love Little Sister's Southeast Asian-inspired fare now have more opportunities to dine at Chef Tin Vuong's critically acclaimed restaurant.
As of Friday, the restaurant in downtown Manhattan Beach is serving lunch Friday-Sunday from 12 noon-3:30 p.m., according to its Facebook page, and is taking to-go orders, as well.
Little Sister's lunch menu includes Chef Tin's creative takes on bánh mi, pan-fried bao, Vietnamese vegetarian spring rolls called bi chay cuon, and a savory taro root cake with ground pork, shrimp, shitake, cracked egg, and scallions, according to LAWeekly.
In May, Little Sister scored high nods from Los Angeles Times restaurant critic Jonathan Gold who named it No. 63 in his list of "101 Best Restaurants of 2014" in Los Angeles.
