Chef David LeFevre's two culinary restaurants help Manhattan Beach get a nod from GQ Magazine, which calls MB the "Best Beach for Chowing Down" in a July 2014 post.

The magazine calls out its "Six Best Beaches" nationwide: Manhattan Beach is joined by Cannon Beach, Oregon, and Hanalei Bay, Kaua’i, Hawaii, among others.

GQ dubs MB "arguably the best in the Lower Forty-eight: It's wide and relaxed, with sand the color of really nice sand."  The writer then goes on to applaud the downtown dining scene, with its fish tacos, "slop-plate Mexican" and LeFevre's Manhattan Beach Post and Fishing With Dynamite.
