Coyotes have been seen in the Tree Section.
Reports of coyote sightings in Manhattan Beach prompted police to issue an advisory and notify the state Department of Fish and Wildlife, said Stephanie Martin of the Manhattan Beach Police Department.
A coyote was reportedly seen near 19th Street and Pine Avenue around 11:30 p.m. on Friday, September 19; another one was seen shortly after that in the 500 block of 31st Street with a cat in its mouth.
