Annual Pier Lighting and Holiday Open House on Way

Downtown Manhattan Beach will welcome the holiday season with the 25th Annual Pier Lighting and the 20th Annual Holiday Open House on Wednesday, November 19 from 6-9 p.m.
Santa Claus, reindeer, carolers, live music, treats, prizes, entertainment and a Holiday Hunt bring all ages together for a fun evening on the scenic streets of downtown MB.
Merchants will offer food, cheer and other fun treats, including special offers and discounts. The pier lighting ceremony will begin at 6 p.m., with the flip switched by Mayor Wayne Powell around 7 p.m. to turn the pier's holiday lights on.
The P.S. I Love You Foundation will be collecting unwrapped gifts for less fortunate children ages 5-12 at a table booth located at Manhattan Beach Boulevard and Manhattan Avenue as part of their 8th Annual Holiday Gift Giving program.
The following streets will be closed to accommodate the event:

- Manhattan Beach Boulevard from Ocean Drive to The Strand will be closed from 5-10:30 p.m.
