Waterleaf Unveils New Look with Recent Expansion

The recently expanded Waterleaf Interiors and Waterleaf Home and Gift Store unveiled its new look on Thursday at a daytime open house and an evening party with more than 200 clients, guests, and friends of the popular design store. The store's recent expansion to more than 3,000 square feet includes a design center, furniture retailer, and home accessories and gifts.

Waterleaf, first launched eight years ago in Metlox Plaza by Manhattan Beach residents Jill Johnson and Suzanne Ascher, is a full-service design business specializing in California and Coastal Chic styles. The firm handles everything from pre-construction space planning to small consultations.

The Waterleaf store offers sofas, paintings, chairs, tables, lighting, and design accents. It the only store in the South Bay that sells John Robshaw bedding, Madeline Weinrib rugs, Karen Robertson shell art, and the acclaimed artwork of Carol Benson Cobb.

The home and gift store also offers small items that are perfect for birthdays, hostesses, teachers, and table top decorating, including holiday décor, candles and an extensive array of jewelry from designers such as Chan Luu, Ariel Gordon, Tai, Buju, Robindra Unsworth, Calinana, and Off the Cuff. The store has the exclusive South Bay license to sell Roberta Roller Rabbit, Juliska, Simon Pearce and Mariposa.
