Parenting Strategies Training in Manhattan Beach

If you want to learn more about parenting an adolescent, the Manhattan Beach MIddle School Parent Teacher Association and the Thelma McMillen center are offering P.S.T. (Parenting Strategies Training) tuition-free at the school beginning Wednesday, Jan. 7.
As one of the most informative adolescent parenting programs in Manhattan Beach. P.S.T. will cover communication, anger, control issues, discipline, respect, responsibility, school work, limit setting, parties, drinking, and drugs.
The program has been specifically designed for Manhattan Beach parents and sessions include networking with other parents and looking objectively at the task of parenting emerging adolescents, according to a post on the MBMS website.
Sessions are led by Deborah Medlicott-Wilson, M.A., and Rocky Wilson, Ph.D. P.S.T. runs for four consecutive Wednesday nights (Jan. 7, 14, 21 and 28) from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 221 on the MBMS campus.
Participants will receive an additional bonus night on "Sex, Drugs and Rock & Roll" on Wednesday, Feb. 4 from 7-8:30 p.m. in Room 221.
