Tickets are now on sale for the much-loved, one-of-a-kind Bayou Benefit, featuring a New Orleans Crawfish Boil, swamp water, margaritas, beer and more, for adults only.

Set for Saturday, April 18 from 3-8 p.m. at  a Manhattan Beach home, the fundraiser benefits the ongoing efforts of the Manhattan Beach Community Emergency Response Team, a non-profit, all-volunteer organization.

Each $100 ticket is tax deductible and gets you into the fun, said MBCERTA President George Butts, who says a New Orleans Crawfish Boil consists of crawfish, andouille sausage, artichokes, corn, red potatoes, mushrooms, garlic, and "the kitchen sink"!

Other fare rounding out the Bayou Beneift includes Deep Fried Cajun Turkey, Louisiana coleslaw, red beans, rice, and beverages such as "swamp water," margaritas, beer, and sodas. Cajun/Zydeco music will fill the air.

The Bayou Benefit, sponsored in part by Cashmere Une Fois, is open to the first 60 adults who send a tax-deductible donation of $100 per person, payable to “MBCERTA.”
