The personalities of scotch will come alive during a special dinner event at Darren's Restaurant on Monday, March 16 from 7-11 p.m. Chef/Owner Darren Weiss will pair a curated menu with The Macallan brand of single malt Scotch for a 5-course dinner. The exclusive tasting dinner is designed to introduce guests to The Macallan brand of Scotch and will be hosted by a certified, single-malt scotch expert appointed by "The Macallan.”

"We felt Darren’s is the perfect environment for those who enjoy an over-the-top dining experience along with an appreciation for the personalities of fine scotch,” said Kieron Elliott, The Macallan brand ambassador and after hours host for the event.

The meal will feature four hand-selected and locally-sourced courses featuring dry aged beef tenderloin, pheasant, lamb belly and a decadent dessert, all paired with The Macallan: 10 Year Old Fine Oak, 15 Year Old Fine Oak, 12 Year Old Sherry Oak and 18 Year Old Sherry Oak Scotches.

The evening will begin with a house-made Cutty Sark Blood & Sand welcome cocktail paired with a pulled-duck appetizer.

In addition to the meal and guided scotch tasting, guests will receive a special gift box donated by Diamond Private Label, Jack Nadel International and Bulova.

Darren’s dinner partnership with The Macallan is the second in a quarterly nationwide series combining great chefs with The Macallan brand in order to create a one-of-a-kind dining experience.

Tickets are $120 per person and purchase includes the 5-course dinner prepared by Chef Darren, Macallan pairings with each dinner course, and a specialty gift box. Tickets can be purchased online. For more information about Darren’s Restaurant, please call (310) 802-1973.
