Photo Gallery: New Manhattan Beach Library Now Open

The Manhattan Beach Public Library at its opening.

An excited community gathered Friday afternoon for the official unveiling of the new Manhattan Beach Public Library. As children and adults of all ages filled the community area outside the new building, officials delivered comments and held a ribbon-cutting.

The new library hours are

Monday-Wednesday: 10 a.m.-9 p.m.
Thursday: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
Friday: 12 noon-6 p.m.
Saturday: 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Children's story time is set for Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10:30 a.m.
