In a two-game District 36 tournament, the Manhattan Beach Little League Junior All-Stars took the title by defeating a Redondo Beach Little League team, 21-5 and 15-0. The boys will play a North Venice Little League Jr. All-Star team on Saturday (July 11) in San Pedro, said Manager Keith Ramsey.
Ramsey says the entire team has been playing well. "Quite frankly, so far, it's been a true team effort. We have gotten solid contributions from every player on the roster." In the 15-0 victory, Merrick Baldo pitched four innings, allowing only one hit and no runs. Colin Livingston blasted a three-run double in the first inning to start the game off.
Junior All-Stars are 13- and 14-year olds. The MBLL Jr. All-Star roster is
