Manhattan Beach Little League Senior All-Stars Advance to Regional Tournament

An undefeated all-star team from Manhattan Beach Little League has advanced to the Western Regional Tournament in Ontario after taking the Division 3 championship, beating Garden Grove 6-2 Thursday night at Marine Avenue Park to take the Southern California Senior League championship title. The winner of the Western Regional Tournament will advance to the 2015 Senior League Baseball World Series.
The MBLL Senior All-Stars, who are 8-0 (in exhibition and post-season play), will take on a team from Oregon in Ontario at Jay Littleton Ball Park in John Galvin Park on Tuesday, July 21. The boys then play a team from Montana on Wednesday, July 22 at 6 p.m., and Western Regional host team Chino on Friday, July 24 at 6 p.m.
In eight games, the team has only allowed 10 runs to its 61. Post-season play stacks up as follows:
