The Manhattan Beach Little League All-Stars defeated a Goleta Little League team Friday night 8-2 in Sub Division play in Ontario. The boys play tonight (Saturday, July 25) at 7:30 p.m. in Ontario at Homer Briggs Park.

Four players homered in the victory: Kyle Karros, Andrew Beserra, Parker Murray, and Ben Scott. 

MBLL went up 2-0 in the first inning and then the score settled in at 3-1 until the bats came alive for the long balls in 4th inning.

MBLL got the win behind solid pitching and defense; Goleta at times had runners on base but the boys "did very well to eliminate the threats," said Coach Anthony Wall.
