Ring in the New Year in Manhattan Beach

Making plans for New Year's Eve? Here's your chance to ring in 2020 in style, in Manhattan Beach, of course. Choose from a variety of options, including:
Baja Sharkeez Manhattan Beach will host an "Endless Summer" New Year's Eve party, with a $40 open bar from 8:30 to 10:30 p.m. There will also be a DJ, balloon drop, and Champagne toast at midnight.
Fishbar will be hosting a special New Year's Eve dinner with plenty of bubbly options. A special a la carte menu will feature oysters on the half shell, deviled crab oysters, boullabaisse, Maine lobster, or surf & turf. Fishing With Dynamite will have both a New Year's Eve lunch and a New Year's Eve dinner. The three-course lunch is $55 per person and the four-course dinner is $95 per person. Currently there is limited availability remaining for lunch, and there are only a few slots left in the early evening for dinner.
Manhattan House will offer a special New Year's Eve dinner for $85 per person, with an optional $30 wine pairing. The feast will feature an antipasti course, a pasta course, a "Grande" course (halibut or steak), and a dessert course. Stick around for entertainment and a toast at midnight. Manhattan Beach Post is hosting a festive three-course menu for $65 per person, with "bottomless bubbles" for an additional $40 per person. The New Year's Eve countdown will start at 10:00 p.m. Only communal table reservations remain; see Open Table for reservations.
Shade Hotel is featuring a New Year's Eve party called Above the Clouds from 8:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.
The party atmosphere will transport you to a mountain chateau while you
feast on ski-inspired hors d’oeuvres and boutique desserts. Other
features include a Belvedere Snowflake welcome cocktail, casino tables with fun prizes, a dance floor, an iced martini bar, ski swag, a Grammy award-winning DJ, and a Veuve Clicquot midnight toast. Tickets for this 21+ event are $125 per person, or book a room package (starting at $579) that includes event tickets and suite bottle service.
The Strand House is hosting a FROST New Year's Eve dinner and party. For the dinner, there are two seatings available. An early 4-course jazz music dinner featuring live music by the Geoff Rakness Trio will be held from 5:00-7:00 p.m. for $125 per person with an optional wine pairing of $50. A later 5-course dinner will be held from 8:00-10:30 p.m. for $175 per person with an optional wine pairing of $75. It will feature complimentary party favors and a midnight Champagne toast. Westdrift Hotel is teaming up with Berry Bly Productions and the Walk With Sally Foundation (producers of White Light White Night) to produce "A Black, Silver, and Gold Affair." The Vegas-style event will feature multiple rooms of DJs and dancing, a free Champagne toast at midnight and a balloon drop along with special party favors, a red carpet with photo ops, and a "Play For Charity" full casino with great prizes with all proceeds going to Walk With Sally ($100 of playing chips included). Guests are asked to dress according to the theme of Black, Silver and Gold. A portion of the ticket sales will also go to benefit the Walk With Sally Foundation.
