Celebrate Father's Day With A Special Meal in Manhattan Beach

It's going to be a great weekend to celebrate Father's Day in Manhattan Beach. Dads or father figures can have their choice of getting special takeout meals, or dining in-person at new "socially distant" restaurant setups.

Brewco has a special treat for Dads on Sunday: Buy Dad an ice cold beer and he will get a shot of Maker's Mark for only 25 cents. Might as well make it a meal, too - Brewco is once again open for in-person dining.

Cafe Wild has welcomed the return of its famous brunch menu, including its Full English Breakfast (English bacon, English sausage, eggs, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans, and toast. Grab a bite and head down to the beach afterwards.

Costa Manhattan Beach is now open for dining in. Treat Dad to one of their many decadent dinner options, including a Wagyu sirloin steak with a port wine shallot marmalade. Make your reservations here.

Fishing With Dynamite wants you to celebrate Dad with the best of the raw bar, a.k.a. the "Mothershucker." The Mothershucker includes 15 Oysters of the Day, a whole Maine lobster, 1/2 dozen Littleneck clams, 1 lb. mussels, 1 1/2 lb. chilled Alaskan King Crab, 1 lb. jumbo shrimp cocktail, and all the sauces - all for $165 plus tax. Lido di Manhattan has a special Father's Day meal package for a family of four. Choose your appetizer, salad, pFishing With Dynamite - Manhattan Beach, CAasta, main course, kids' entree, and dessert for $95. Each order includes a free bottle of Cabernet. The restaurant is also open for dining at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday.

MB Post offers its "Bangin' Brunch" on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 1:45 p.m. Don't miss out on MB Post's brunch classics such as the famous bacon cheddar buttermilk biscuits, braised pork shoulder breakfast chimichanga; pecan sticky buns; or eggs Benedict served on a biscuit with arugula, prosciutto, and hollandaise. OB's Pub & Grill will be open for breakfast starting at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday, and all through the day to give Dad the true pub experience. OB's bar is now open with "socially distanced" barstools and light plexiglass dividers.

Rice is open for take-out and in-person dining so you can indulge Dad with health-conscious and gluten-free sushi and vegan options. Check out the "Crispy Chocolate Banana" dessert. Open on Father's Day from noon to 8:30 p.m. (last call; close at 9:00 p.m.). Call 310-798-7722 for reservations.

Shade Hotel has a Father's Day Family BBQ feast including baby back ribs, grilled chicken thighs, grilled peach salad, broccoli slaw, loaded potato salad, with an option to add maple bacon cornbread, dessert, and more for $60+. Simmzy's is featuring a "Rock Out on the Deck With Dad" event featuring live local music, in addition to beers, burgers, and tacos. Dane Drewis will perform on Saturday from 5-8:00 p.m. and Katie Hargrove will perform on Sunday from 2-5:00 p.m.

Slay Italian Kitchen is open for indoor and outdoor dining. On Father's Day, the restaurant is featuring two specials: Lobster Fra Diavolo spaghetti with spicy tomato and Calabrian peppers for $35; or Tuscan rib steak with rosemary, garlic, and lemon zest, and roasted potato and leek for $42. Slay Steak & Fish House is open for indoor and outdoor dining. For Father's Day, enjoy the special St. Louis style baby back ribs with homemade peach BBQ sauce, roasted potato salad, and grilled onion. Make your reservations online; outdoor seating is first-come, first-served.

The Arthur J has a fancy Father's Day Grill Kit featuring two 16-oz. prime ribeye steaks, 1 lb. wild Mexican shrimp, and 1 lb. chicken breast, all with marinades and spices; along with bourbon-soaked wood chips for grilling and your choice of batch cocktail to serve four.
