New Year's Eve in Manhattan Beach is all about comfort this year. For your special celebration, Shade Hotel is offering both a six-course tasting menu to go - or a special New Year's Eve stay.
Shade's Six-Course Tasting Menu
The six-course tasting menu is $125 (serves four) and will be available from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. on December 31. Pre-order by calling 310-698-5559.
The menu includes:
• Le Grand Courtâge Bottle of Brut Champagne
• Cheese & Charcuterie, preserves, spiced nuts, fruit and nut bread, assorted crackers
• Antipasto, marinated olives, garlic herb hummus, cherry pepper relish, breadsticks, crudite
• Spicy Tuna On Crispy Rice, soy reduction, wasabi ginger aioli, fresh jalapeño, avocado
• Truffle Short Rib Sliders, Bochetto truffle cheese, truffle aioli, caramelized onions, arugula
• Crispy Fried Chicken Bites, sesame honey, Ají amarillo buttermilk dip
• Ora King Salmon, crème fraîche, lemon, “everything” seasoning
Add-on side dishes include:
• Black Truffle Deviled Eggs $18
• Jumbo Shrimp Cocktail, cocktail sauce, horseradish, lemon $20
