A new Manhattan Beach-themed Monopoly game is coming out this fall, and Manhattan Beach residents are being asked to submit suggestions for how to customize it for the city.

Top Trumps, a gaming company, is creating the Manhattan Beach-themed game under license from Hasbro. 

To help capture Manhattan Beach's unique aesthetic, Top Trumps is asking residents to send in their suggestions to help make the legendary game their own.

“With the public’s help, our newest city version will truly capture the beauty and charm of Manhattan Beach," said Dale Hackett, custom games manager at Top Trumps, in a statement. "From surfing the break and lounging on the sand to walking the Pier and enjoying Downtown Manhattan Beach, the game will be completely customized to what the city has to offer."

Top Trumps USA Inc. is the USA division of Winning Moves International. The company makes an assortment of educational card and board games, including the original Top Trumps card game, Top Trumps Match - the Crazy Cube Game, Top Trumps Quiz, the fast-paced word tile game Lexicon-GO!, playing cards, and puzzles.

Top Trumps is currently bringing official versions of completely customized community-based Monopoly games for the North American market under license from Hasbro.

Each community-based Monopoly experience will play homage to the town's favorite locations, icons, and businesses; creating a game to embrace what makes each community unique and special.
