City Hall to Resume In-Person Services

Beginning Monday, January 31, Manhattan Beach City Hall will resume all in-person services, as Manhattan Beach COVID-19 cases continue to decrease.

City Hall operational hours are Monday through Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. City services, such as business license renewals and recreation class registration, will be available by walk-in on a first-come, first-served basis.

The Community Development Department, which includes building and planning, will be open to walk-ins Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and by appointment only from 1:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Thursday and 1:30 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Friday.

Visit Manhattan Beach City Hall Appointments and Online Services to schedule an appointment, or visit the city's Citizen Self Service Portal to initiate a Community Development service request.

Beginning Thursday, January 27, the Police and Fire Department lobby will be open to visitors from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

While City Hall and city facilities are open to the public, the city is encouraging the community to continue taking advantage of services available online or by phone. Per Los Angeles County Department of Public Health, face coverings are required when indoors.
