The Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair - preparing for its 50th anniversary this year - is seeking photos, stories, and memories from past fairs to share in its collection.

A link to share photos and more can be found here.

Fair organizers are seeking a range of images or stories from the fair. Approved submissions will be showcased on the fair's website and social media.

This year's 50th anniversary Manhattan Beach Hometown Fair will be held on October 1-2, 2022.

The fair is a non-profit venture produced by an all-volunteer board. A beloved tradition in Manhattan Beach, the event has run annually since 1972, although the 2020 Hometown Fair was held virtually.

The fair seeks to promote local artists and organizations through craft booths, food and game booths, and a variety of entertainment for children and adults. For many local non-profits, the fair booths are the largest fundraiser of the year.
