It's time to treat Mom, or your favorite mother figure, to special Mother's Day brunch, dinner, and gifts in Manhattan Beach.

Mother's Day Dining in Manhattan Beach


Fishbar has a special Mother's Day brunch, served on Sunday from 10:30 a.m to 2:00 p.m. The menu includes special drinks plus a choice of a seared ahi platter, roasted red pepper shrimp, crispy halibut tacos, and smoked salmon Louie. Call 310-796-0200 to reserve.

Lido di Manhattan has Mother's Day weekend special menu items from Friday through Sunday. Special treats include filet mignon with Champagne poached lobster, short rib ravioli, and buttermilk strawberry shortcake. Call 310-536-0730 to reserve.

Pressed Juicery has a Mother's Day special going on all weekend: Try a (plant-based) Rose Freeze Sundae for only $3.

Rice has a special Mother's Day menu featuring two multi-course options: Ocean ($49), which is gluten-free; and Garden ($39), which is gluten-free and vegan. Open from noon to 9:00 p.m. on Mother's Day; call 310-798-7722 to reserve.

Rock'n Fish invites you to treat Mom for a Mother's Day meal and get a complimentary chocolate mousse for dessert.

Shade Hotel has Mother's Day buffet brunch on the terrace. Choose from a variety of hot and cold selections as well as salads, pastries, and a chef's carving station. $95 for adults and $35 for children ages 10 and under. Call 310-546-4995 to reserve.

The Strand House has a special three-course Mother's Day brunch served from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Entree choices include steak and eggs; chicken and waffles; and saffron linguini with crab, shrimp, and calamari. $95 per person; call 310-545-7470 to reserve.

Tin Roof Bistro has a Mother's Day brunch to go. The menu includes waffles, stone fruit salad, Greek yogurt parfait, chicken and apple sausage, candied bacon, and peach and ginger crisp; with additional optional add-ons. The package is $200 and serves 4 to 5. Order here.

Urban Plates has a special spring menu that includes roasted barramundi sea bass, wild ahi nicoise, organic farro with sweet peppers and corn, and a pineapple coconut lime refresher. For dessert, treat Mom to the flower-like mango tart (pictured above).


Mother's Day Gifts in Manhattan Beach


Beehive has jewelry, picnic essentials, swimwear (for moms and moms-to-be), and outfits so you can match with your mom.

Corpo Bonito has a special treat for Mom: Spend $100 and get a free cover-up for Mom from their resort collection.

Deep Roots Garden Center and Floral Shop has a wide range of succulents and fun indoor plants, including carnivorous plants to appeal to Mom's dangerous side.

Gorjana, a fine jewelry store in the Manhattan Village Mall, will be offering complimentary custom gift wrap in partnership with Sugar Paper LA for Mother's Day, from now through 8:00 p.m. on Sunday.

GROW has specials this week to treat Mom with filet mignon, locally made chocolates, Harry's Berries, and cherries.

Lulu's Nouvelle has specialty gifts including hair ornaments, jewelry, and perfumes for Mom (pictured above). Join them on Saturday from noon to 5:00 p.m. for a special Maude & Nell trunk show. 

Right Tribe has special Mother's Day beaded bracelets - Call ahead to have one personalized.

Splendid is featuring an appearance by gift designer Rachel Miriam and her team on Friday, May 6, from noon to 3:00 p.m. to personalize Rachel Miriam x Splendid Mother's Day gift sets.
