Skechers: 'Ye' Not Welcome Here

Kanye West, the musician and fashion mogul now known as "Ye," showed up unannounced at Skechers headquarters in Manhattan Beach on Wednesday and was promptly escorted out by security.
According to a statement from Skechers, Ye showed up "unannounced and without invitation."
"Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers
executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief
conversation," read the statement. "Skechers is not considering and has no intention of
working with West. We condemn his recent divisive remarks and do not
tolerate antisemitism or any other form of hate speech. The company
would like to again stress that West showed up unannounced and uninvited
to Skechers corporate offices."
Ye had famously had a partnership with Adidas that some estimates put at between $1 and $2 billion in sales per year for Adidas, netting Ye hundreds of millions of dollars in royalties.
Following Ye's brazen and offensive antisemitic diatribes, Adidas ended that partnership earlier this week.
Among the other companies that
have dropped him are Balenciaga, Foot Locker, Gap, his law firm,
and his talent agency.
