The holiday season is means it's time for music in Manhattan Beach, so get ready for some of the best performances and events of the year from the Mira Costa High School's music program.

Musical events are as follows:

TODAY (Friday, November 25) at 3:00 p.m.: Catch the Mira Costa High School marching band at Manhattan Village Mall at the parade for Santa's arrival and the tree lighting (the festivities start at 3:00 p.m. and Santa arrives at 5:00 p.m.) The event is free, but you can reserve a spot here.

Friday, December 2 at 7:00 p.m.: See the Grammy-award-winning MIra Costa High School Bands at their 2022 winter concert in the Mira Costa auditorium. General admission is $11; students and senior citizens are free. Purchase tickets here. (At the same site, you can buy concert concessions such as drinks and snacks at $2 apiece or three for $5.)

Friday, December 9 at 7:00 p.m.: See the Mira Costa Choirs perform their "This Shining Night" winter concert in the Mira Costa auditorium. General admission is $10; students and senior citizens are free. Purchase tickets here. (Pre-concert activities begin at 6:30 pm and will include choir merchandise for sale, Birthday Grams & Celebration Grams, flowers, and more.)

Sunday, December 11, starting at 3:00 p.m.: In advance of the Manhattan Beach holiday fireworks, The Mira Costa Choirs will perform carols throughout downtown from 3:00 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The Mira Costa Jazz Band will perform at 5:30 p.m. The event is free of charge.

Friday, December 16 at 7:00 p.m.: The Mira Costa Orchestras will perform its winter concert at the Mira Costa High School auditorium. Tickets are $10; students and senior citizens are free. There's also an "opportunity drawing" available at the ticket site. Buy tickets here.
