City Services and Other Openings and Closings For 4th of July

Trash Collection
There will be no trash collection on July 4. Instead, Tuesday's route will be collected on Wednesday, Wednesday's route will be collected on Thursday, Thursday's route will be collected on Friday and Friday's route will be collected on Saturday (July 8).

Street Sweeping
Street
sweeping will not take place on Tuesday, July 4, and will not be
made up. The Manhattan Beach Police Department will not cite vehicles for street sweeping purposes on July 4. All other sweeping days that week will operate on a normal
schedule and route.
City Office and Service Closures on July 4
On July 4, Manhattan Beach city offices, the Joslyn Community Center, Manhattan Heights Community Center, and Manhattan Beach Library will be closed.
Sand Dune Park, tennis and racquet sport courts, and fields will be open for drop-in play only.
(The city will be hosting a 4th of July pool party at Begg Pool from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for $5 per person.)
Construction will not be allowed and no inspections will be conducted.
The City Council meeting that would have been held on July 4 has been rescheduled to July 5.
Coffee with the Mayor has been rescheduled to Tuesday, July 11.
Other Manhattan Beach Attractions Special Hours
Fireworks Not Permitted
The city is reminding residents that all personal fireworks are prohibited within Manhattan Beach city limits, and residents can expect ongoing citywide enforcement.
