Kinecta Seeks Donations for 15th Annual Backpack Drive

Kinecta is hosting its 15th annual backpack drive to help supply children in under-served communities with back-to-school accessories. And on July 16 and 17, you can take advantage of Amazon Prime Day deals to contribute.
From now through July 22, Kinecta is accepting donations of new backpacks and school supplies for children in grades 3-12.
Community members can contribute
through Kinecta's Amazon Wish List, make monetary donations online, or drop off items at any Kinecta branch location.
(The Manhattan Beach branch is located at 1120 N. Sepulveda Blvd.)
Kinecta employees then distribute the backpacks and supplies with students at a festive giveaway event.
School
supplies needed for the drive include highlighters, folders,
notebooks, glue, pencils, pens, pencil cases, pencil sharpeners, rulers,
paper, binders, scissors, erasers, backpacks and calculators. All items
must be new and unused.
Last year's average back-to-school expenditure reached
$890.07 per family, according to the National Retail Federation, presenting a significant challenge for those with limited resources.
Since 2010, Kinecta's backpack drive has reached more than 7,000 students.
