You love going to summer concerts at Polliwog Park in Manhattan Beach - Why not volunteer to help out? The city is looking for volunteers to help with concert setup and breakdown.

Volunteer opportunities begin with the Juneteenth celebration on June 22, with two shifts available, from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., or 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Then volunteer spots are available for the Polliwog Park concerts on Sundays from June 29 through August 31. Volunteers are needed on each of those days for each of two shifts: 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

Setup duties include helping offload equipment from trucks and the Manhattan Heights Community Center, and carrying tables, chairs, pop-up tents, and street signage to the Event Areas; assisting entertainers/bands with transporting equipment to the stage; and helping event coordinators and city staff walk vehicles on and off park grounds.

Cleanup duties include breaking down pop-up tents and tables, taking down signage, and carrying items back to the Manhattan Heights Community Center and loading them onto trucks; helping entertainers and bands bring back equipment to their cars; and helping event coordinators and city staff walk vehicles on and off park grounds.

Volunteer signups are available here.
