Manhattan Beach held its Emergency Preparedness Fair on Saturday, giving residents a chance to put out fires, try CPR, and watch the Jaws of Life in action.
Held at the Manhattan Beach Fire Station #1 in downtown Manhattan Beach, the event featured fire and police personnel, city departments, the Red Cross, Beach Cities Health District, Neighborhood Watch, Manhattan Beach CERT, and more.

about preparing for emergencies; what to put in an emergency kit; how to
proceed in case of fire; and earthquake, tsunami, and general hazard
readiness.

(The cars used for the Jaws of Life demonstration had been headed to the junkyard.)
