Manhattan Beach Rotary, Turning 75, Honors Veterans
Nov 06, 2025 10:12PM ● By Jeanne FratelloAs the Manhattan Beach Rotary Club marks its 75th anniversary this year, the charitable organization is turning its attention to veterans. On Saturday, November 8, the Rotary will host the 6th annual VetFest to celebrate the service and sacrifice of veterans and local first responders.
VetFest, which runs from noon to 5 p.m., is open to the public ($60) and free for all veterans and first responders. The festival features live music from The Pine Mountain Logs and Joe's Band, as well as food trucks, kids activities, and resource booths.

The event also raises critical funds for organizations including Operation Mend (UCLA), Team Rubicon, Pin Up for Vets, the Jimmy Miller Memorial Foundation, and other veteran-focused non-profits.
Organizers say that this year’s VetFest is especially meaningful. Coinciding with the Rotary’s 75th anniversary, the event serves as a way to honor the past, support the present, and invest in the future of those who’ve given so much.
A vital force in the South Bay since 1949, the Manhattan Beach Rotary has long supported local and global initiatives—from student scholarships to international humanitarian aid.
