North Manhattan Beach Prepares for Holiday Stroll

Dec 06, 2025 01:08PM ● By Jeanne Fratello
Sunday evening's "Holiday Stroll" event in North Manhattan Beach will have a different look this year: For the first time, Highland Avenue will be shut down between 33rd and Rosecrans as the neighborhood transforms into a sparkling North Pole filled with Santa, live entertainment, carolers, a Holiday Market, and festive offerings from local shops and restaurants.

The event, to be held from 5:00 to 9:00 p.m., will feature two stages for entertainment - one focused on kids, one geared toward adults; a train for kids to ride; Santa on the float with a professional photographer; and a face painter, balloon twister, magician and two stilt walkers with lighted costumes.

A few highlights from local merchants and businesses include:

Denton & Denton Group: Musical entertainment (Emily V, electronic violinist); kids giveaways; beverages.
El Porto Surf Shop & Player’s Liquor: Tent on closed portion of Highland with giveaways; food in front of Player’s; live music upstairs at surf shop.
Manhattan Beach E-Bike Rentals: Snacks; hot apple cider inside.
MB Skin Spa: Special sale/offering; kids snacks/food items.
Nick & Sons: Keg; homemade chili; gift basket station.
Round Willow Yoga: Special sale/offering; pop-up market.
Style Cleaners: Tamales and hot chocolate.

The event will also offer a holiday market with more than 35 vendors.
