Manhattan Beach Little League Parade to Return on Saturday

This year’s Americana-style parade will feature hundreds of players, classic cars carrying Manhattan Beach Mayor David Lesser and other local VIPs, local fire and police brigades, and the Mira Costa High School Marching Band for a high-energy trek through the heart of downtown.
Following the parade, a carnival at American Martyrs School will feature giant slides, obstacle courses, Dodgers branded games and experiences for kids - plus a special keynote from LA Chargers Head Coach Jim Harbaugh.
The event timeline will run as follows:
8:00 a.m.: Pre-parade coffee and snacks at Shade Hotel.
9:00 a.m.: Parade begins at Valley Dr. & Manhattan Beach Blvd.
9:30 a.m.: Parade leads to Opening Day Ceremony at American Martyrs School fields.
10:00 a.m.: Coach Harbaugh’s remarks to follow the parade arrival.
10:00 a.m. - 2:00 PM: Carnival games and treats.
