Neptunian Womans Club Seeks Student Art Contest Entries

The Neptunian Woman's Club is seeking entries to its 46th annual art and photography contest for K-12 students. The contest is open to youth who live in or attend school in Manhattan Beach.
The contest is unique among many local competitions because it offers cash prizes for the top winners.
Artwork submitted for the contest must be original and current. It is may not be a class
project, three-dimensional, projection, photocopy or work previously
submitted to Neptunian Woman’s Club Art Contest. The photography competition is open to grades 4-12 only.

All artwork received will be judged by local professional artists and
shown on March 22 at the Neptunian Woman’s Club in Manhattan Beach.
Established in 1978 by Neptunian Woman's Club member Elizabeth Dorsey, the first “Art
Tea” began as an opportunity to recognize student artists from kindergarten
through 12th grade. Now a longstanding tradition in Manhattan Beach, the competition aims to showcase up-and-coming artistic talent in the local
community.
