Taryn Brasher and Kristen Cruz have a
chance at making history Sunday and tying an all-time record set by pro
beach volleyball legends Misty May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh Jennings by
winning their third straight
AVP Manhattan Beach Open title.
Their back-to-back victories on Saturday and again early Sunday morning earned them a spot in the finals on Sunday afternoon.

Notable action on the men's side on Saturday included #6-seeded Paul Lotman and Miles Partain taking down #1-seeded Chase Budinger and Trevor Crabb to reach the semifinals.
