Manhattan Beach Gallery Hop to Highlight Three Local Art Galleries

Manhattan Beach's vibrant art culture will be on display on Saturday, August 22, at a "Gallery Hop" between the Manhattan Beach Art
Center, Diversions Fine Arts, and Bluerider ART galleries.
The Gallery Hop represents an effort to coordinate
programming and encourage the public to spend an afternoon enjoying art
across three spaces located just a few blocks from one
another along or near Manhattan Beach Boulevard, according to Randy Niessen, cultural arts supervisor for the city of Manhattan Beach.
"We soft-launched the activity a few months ago, and this weekend will be
our third Gallery Hop," Niessen told MB News. "Our intention is to host the Gallery Hop once a
month, with each gallery developing its own programming. The idea is to
create a more casual experience where guests
can stroll from gallery to gallery at their own pace and enjoy what
each space has to offer."
This weekend, the Manhattan Beach Art Center will also host its Fall Open House, giving visitors a chance to preview upcoming
classes and workshops, meet instructors, and explore
the current exhibition.

- Manhattan Beach Art Center - 1560 Manhattan Beach Blvd., Manhattan Beach (Annual Community Exhibition)
- Diversions Fine Arts - 1069 N. Aviation Blvd. in Manhattan Beach (Visionaries exhibit)
- Blurider ART - 1030 Manhattan Beach Blvd in Manhattan Beach ("Ink Reborn" exhibit; special guided tour will be available from 2 to 3:00 p.m.)
1:00 to 4:00 p.m.:
