Could it be time to think about holiday photos already? Yes, and local photographer Santas in the Sand - marking its 12th anniversary of photos at the beach - is now offering school fundraising partnerships with its holiday photo shoots. 

Founded in 2014 by professional photographer Mark DeJohn, the company brings holiday photos outdoors to the Manhattan Beach Pier, pairing high-end family portraiture with a personalized interactive visit with Santa.

"Twelve years ago, we set out to create a fun, relaxing, and deeply personal alternative to a timeless tradition," said Mark DeJohn, founder of Santas in the Sand. "We wanted families to slow down and enjoy the moment. Over the last decade, watching children run across the sand to meet Santa with the Pacific Ocean in the background has become the ultimate signature of a Southern California winter."

This year the company is offering local school fundraising partnerships to directly support public education and youth programs in Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, and Redondo Beach. "We are giving back to the coast that built us," said DeJohn.
