The Manhattan Beach Dune Restoration Project aims to restore approximately three acres of sandy beach and dune habitat along the shoreline of Manhattan Beach, California. Come volunteer to help The Bay Foundation and project partners remove non-native iceplant and plant and seed native dune species. This project will evaluate a living restored shoreline with a diverse plant and wildlife community as an approach to increase coastal resiliency. 30 volunteers are needed. Waiver and registration are required. Note that this is a vaccinated-only event.
