In response to recent attacks against MBUSD schools, a panel of invited speakers will touch on the debate surrounding Critical Race Theory, efforts to privatize American public schools, the tactics employed by white supremacist hate groups to recruit young children online, and discrimination experienced by Black and LGBTQIA+ students. Explore the impact that these phenomena are having on local school governance in Manhattan Beach. Presented by Community Conversations Manhattan Beach.
