Join the Manhattan Beach Art Center for the opening of the +1 art exhibition on April 19 at the Manhattan Beach Arts Center. Light food and wine will be served. This exhibition features the work of over 20 ceramic artists from Southern California, some of whom have careers spanning over 50 years. Each artist has been tasked with inviting their mentor to show work alongside theirs, highlighting the mentor-mentee relationship that has propelled ceramic culture for millennia. Through guidance, critique, and shared experiences, mentors empower mentees to explore their creativity, hone their skills, and add their own threads to the rich tapestry of pottery traditions.
