The Manhattan Beach community is invited to come together on Monday, September 21, for a special International Day of Peace celebration centered on the message, “Invest in Peace—For Everyone, Everywhere, Every Day.” Special guests representing the City of Manhattan Beach and the local business and school communities will join students and families for an inspiring celebration of peace in our community and around the world.

The free community event will take place from 12:00 noon to 2:00 PM at Civic Center Plaza and will feature activities and food for the entire family provided by local partners. A brief community program will begin at 12:30 PM, followed by a special aerial community photograph at 1:15 PM. Guests are encouraged to wear white as a visible expression of unity and peace. RSVPs are encouraged.
