Poetry of Emotions brings together California artists Ben Jackel and Nellie King Solomon, whose distinct practices share an interest in material, movement, and the forces that transform the world around us. Presented together for the first time in the greater Los Angeles area, their work creates an unexpected dialogue between fluidity and permanence, control and chance, and the natural and human forces that give matter form.

The formal program will begin at 7:00 p.m.

Poetry of Emotions is curated by Homeira Goldstein and presented in collaboration with TIME4ART.
