Legendary 6-Man Volleyball on the Sand in MB

Teams entered in the Charlie Saikley 6-Man play while wearing costumes.
Some 50 teams are set to take to the sand south of the Manhattan Beach Pier beginning at 9 a.m. today and tomorrow in costumes for the Charlie Saikley 6-Man Beach Volleyball Tournament.
Teams compete in men's and women's divisions according to age, and professional athletes as usually seen in the mix playing alongside local beach volleyball stars.
The tournament kicks off the International Surf Festival, whose ocean- and sand-themed events run this Friday through Sunday.
