This weekend in Manhattan Beach and Hermosa Beach, the annual International Surf Festival is going on with multiple events.

Friday night saw the first round of the L.A. County Lifeguard championships, with the Manhattan Beach guards sweeping the evening's events.

Saturday morning featured bodysurfing and surfing competitions by the MB pier. 

Sunday morning brings a pier-to-pier paddleboard race and the annual swim, the Dwight Crum Pier-to-Pier Swim, ending at the MB pier.
