BCHD Opens Vaccine Appointments at AdventurePlex

The Beach Cities Health District has announced that any person living or working in Los Angeles County who is age 16 and over may sign up for a vaccine appointment at its AdventurePlex vaccination site on Saturday.
Appointments are required. Residents may sign up for an appointment at MyTurn.ca.gov.
Appointment slots will be available from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the Pfizer vaccine will be administered.
Additional
clinics open to the public at AdventurePlex will be scheduled and
announced as vaccine supply is confirmed. To be notified of future

Beach Cities Health District, in partnership with South Bay Family Health Care, is also offering vaccination appointments for the Moderna vaccine (only available to individuals 18 or older) at its headquarters at 514 N. Prospect Ave. in Redondo Beach.
Those appointments are available Mondays, Wednesdays
and Fridays between 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Sign up for an appointment by calling South Bay Family Health Care at 310-802-6170
Earlier this week, the Manhattan Beach School District announced that family members of MBUSD students and staff would be eligible to receive vaccinations at the Adventureplex site. As of Tuesday evening, more than 200 MBUSD family members had signed up for appointments.
