It will stop in the middle of each block to take pictures and offer candy to neighborhood children.

The float begins tonight in the American Martyrs neighborhood.

Red-Bagged Parking Meters

Starting on Monday, November 28, Manhattan Beach will continue its tradition of offering free parking over the holiday season. The street parking meters and meters in city-owned parking lots across town will be "red-bagged" through Monday, December 26.

While parking is free, vehicles exceeding the posted maximum time are subject to citation.

Note: The state-owned meters at the Manhattan Beach Pier, as well as the county-owned meters at the El Porto beach/26th Street parking lots, are not included in the meter bagging. Do not assume that parking is free unless you specifically see a red bag on the meter.
