Manhattan Beach Students Return to School

"I am excited for the new school year and look forward to the learning and success that will unfold across our district," said Manhattan Beach Unified School District Superintendent John Bowes. "It was wonderful to visit each school site on the first day with the district leadership team to welcome our students and staff. I am filled with optimism about the year ahead, as we continue to celebrate our community’s achievements and uphold educational excellence."

Photo via MBUSD.)Manhattan Beach schools hired a number of new leaders this year, including new principals for Mira Costa High School (Jennifer Huynh), Manhattan Beach Middle School (Luke Olesiuk), and Robinson Elementary (Katie Cavallaro); and a new director of early learning (former Robinson Principal Jacqueline O'Sullivan).
