If you're looking to try something new for happy hour, look no further than BOA Steakhouse and Sushi Roku in Manhattan Village. Both have new and revamped happy hour menus.

BOA Steakhouse's happy hour menu is available daily from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. and features special happy hour sized plates of BOA classics, ranging from $9 to $14.

One highlight is Executive Chef Brendan Collins’ signature Fish & Chips, a staple of his British gastropub roots, available at the Manhattan Beach location only. The plate ($12) includes a light and crispy fish filet, along with fries, malt vinegar, and homemade tartar sauce that is among the best we've ever tried (we asked for extra sauce).

Other options include $12 raw bar bites, a mini Wagyu beef meatball sandwich ($9), Wagyu tacos ($12), and of course a classic BOA burger and fries ($13). Also new on the afternoon menu is a Summer Steak & Salad with a generous Manhattan strip steak and choice of half wedge or half Caesar salad ($35).

A special menu of $12 happy hour cocktails includes an Espresso Martini, a BOA Black Manhattan, a classic BOA Martini, and a "Peaches n Dreams" cocktail with Bandero tequila, peach liqueur, fresh peach, and lime - with a colorful and tangy Tajin rim.

Sushi Roku, which is connected to BOA, is also offering a new happy hour menu, available Mondays to Fridays from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and weekends from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m.

Happy hour cocktails include Fusion ($10) with Tito’s vodka, pineapple, and watermelon; and Heat of the Dragon ($12) with Patron silver tequila, alma finca orange, kumquat, serrano, and lime.
