The 32nd Annual Manhattan Wine Auction, held last weekend, raised $2 million for Manhattan Beach public schools.
The Manhattan
Wine Auction is the largest charity wine auction in Southern California, bringing together 2,500 guests to sample the best in food and
wine. All proceeds from the event benefit the Manhattan
Beach Education Foundation's Endowment
Fund, which provides the Manhattan Beach Education Foundation with a continuing and sustainable funding
source for the city's public school system.
The Paddle Raise at the wine auction raised $700,000 for the MBEF Endowment in support of its Grow $5 Million in 5 Years campaign.
The campaign is designed to ensure that MBEF can continue to fund critical programs and educational priorities
regardless of shifting economic conditions or changes in state funding.
This year's auction marked a leap over last year's fundraising total of $1.4 million.
Missed this year's auction? Mark your calendars for next year's wine auction, which will be held on June 5, 2027.
